About NAD+
NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell, required for the reactions that turn food into usable energy and for the DNA repair enzymes that keep genomes intact. Its levels fall substantially with age, and that decline is one of the most consistently reproduced findings in ageing biology — which is why NAD+ has become a cornerstone of longevity protocols rather than a niche interest.
Injectable NAD+ exists for the same reason injectable glutathione does: the oral route is inefficient. Oral NAD+ is largely broken down before absorption, which is why most oral products supply precursors like NMN or NR instead and hope the body converts them. A 500mg vial supplies the molecule itself. It is one of two catalogue items with a 10 mL reconstitution allowance, because at 500mg a standard volume would be unusable.
