About Selank
Selank is a synthetic analogue of tuftsin, developed at the Russian Academy of Sciences as an anxiolytic that would not sedate, impair or produce dependence — the three things that limit conventional anxiolytics. It has been in clinical use in Russia for years, which gives it an unusual amount of human data for a compound largely unknown elsewhere.
The research describes an effect on anxiety alongside preserved or improved cognitive performance, which is the combination that makes it interesting. It is frequently paired with Semax, the other peptide from the same research programme: Selank for the anxiety and mood side, Semax for focus and memory. Reconstitution and storage
The 5mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL. Selank is also studied intranasally, and we carry it as a ready-made nasal spray as well as this vial. Unopened vials are stable at room temperature in transit but belong in a fridge once they arrive, and out of a parked car in a Highveld summer.
