About Melanotan II
Melanotan II is a synthetic analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It binds melanocortin receptors and stimulates melanin production, which is where the tanning reputation comes from — it is the compound behind the entire "tanning peptide" category. But it binds several melanocortin receptors rather than one, and the other two it hits are the reason the product description mentions appetite and libido alongside pigmentation.
That breadth is both the appeal and the caveat. Melanotan II is less selective than PT-141, which was developed from the same family specifically to isolate the arousal effect. If sexual health is the goal, PT-141 is the targeted tool. If tanning is the goal, this is the compound with the research behind it.

Unopened vials are stable at room temperature in transit but belong in a fridge once they arrive, and out of a parked car in a Highveld summer.
