About Cagrilintide
Cagrilintide is a long-acting analogue of amylin, a hormone secreted with insulin that signals satiety through a different route from GLP-1. That difference is the entire reason it exists as a product: because the pathways are separate, the effects add rather than overlap, and the combination of cagrilintide with semaglutide has been the most closely watched pairing in obesity research for several years.
